Muscle Tank & Distressed Denim Shorts
I must confess that I've worn this Shore Danica muscle tank too many times before washing. It's just so comfy and the perfect lounge tank and I can easily throw on a pair of skinny jeans and booties with the tank to run out and grab dinner or meet friends. I love the rich burgundy color that makes it easy to slowly transition into fall since Southern California is still experiencing moderately warm days. While enjoying my breakfast and coffee at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, I styled this tank with Shore's Tete Distress Highwaist Denim Shorts for a more casual look. I'm also quite obsessed with the denim shorts because of the softness of the denim, but still keeping it's structured shape while being worn. The denim is just distressed enough to give that edgier look. Shop Shore here! And follow along my social handles [instagram | twitter | facebook] as I embark on a Halloween weekend trip to VEGAS!Photos taken by Renee Rogers

Visiting Morro Bay and Morro Rock in Central Coast, California
I'm so excited to share a few snapshots as well as a video of my trip to Morro Bay with Renee last week! After road tripping through Santa Barbara up to San Luis Obispo, we made a pit stop in Morro Bay for sightseeing, fresh ocean air, and lunch on our last day. We had such as great time taking in all the scenery as well as the sea animals swimming about! We visited on a Wednesday, around 11am and were easily able to find parking in a lot right by the water. This lot also leads to a dirt road that leads to Morro Rock, which we unfortunately did not get to venture out to since we had to head back down south. There's a plethora of casual and sit down seafood restaurants. A friend suggested that I order oysters while visiting Morro Bay, so I did from the Harbor Hut (as well as a yummy mimosa), and they were so dang good! Definitely a place to visit while in the Central Coast.

Drop Waist Printed Dress for Fall 2015
I received this West Kei dress and loved the print, drop waist, and loose fit for an easy-going but put together look to wear while visiting the Bay Club in Carmel Valley. I usually don't wear loose-fitting dresses as they seem to make me look like I'm wearing a potato sack, but I feel like the strategic placement of the print gave my body some sort of shape and dimension. I kept the look simple with a Baroni Jewelry charm necklace and Mango black booties. For a night out look, I can easily transition the charm necklace out for statement earrings or bracelet stacks, and switch out the booties for a pair of strappy heels. Stay tuned for my experience at the Bay Club!Photos taken by Renee Rogers

Dressing Up a Tie Dye Romper
Before getting to spend a day at the Bay Club Carmel Valley, Renee and I grabbed a yummy cocktail at Omni La Costa's hotel bar lounge, and then headed to dinner at Cucina Enoteca with the other bloggers. I dressed up my casual Shore tie dye romper by throwing a moto-style white jacket over the shoulders, used a simple burgundy clutch, and wore strappy heels; which instantly elevated the look for a night out. The structured shape of the cotton moto jacket gives the flowy romper a more dynamic and edgy look. I'm absolutely obsessed with this romper and have worn it for running errands, to the pool, to sleep; it's just downright comfy and cute! Get the Eden romper in blue or other colors here.

Freixenet Cordon Negro Brut for Halloween Entertaining
In the spirit of Halloween and social entertaining, Renee and I got together to create a spookingly-chic and bewitching set up while we dressed up in gypsy-fortune teller-witchy looks featuring 16thColony's Rumours Crop (can't have enough of the burnout velvet and fringe, use code FFFBOHOBABES for 20% off your order). We cut lace and wrapped it around our heads for different gypsy inspired looks.
With a metallic gold pen, we decorated the black frosted bottles of Freixenet Cordon Negro Brut, then popped a couple of bottles and mixed the 'cava' sparkling wine with sparkling berry juice for a seductively sweet beverage. Aside from the dressed up bottles enhancing our candlelit set up quite nicely, decorating the bottles was a fun process and serves as a great party activity for guests at a formal table or gathered together in a casual setting.
For Halloween specifically, bring together friends to costume-ize Freixenet bottles with haunting or ghoulish artwork to beat the mess of pumpkin carving. Use the mini Freixenet bottles as apart of a table setting by popping a Halloween-inspired paper straw in each bottle, and even use each bottle as a name card by writing the guest name with metallic pen, or give a mini bottle and metallic pen in goody bags as a take home.
Freixenet Cordon Negro Brut has a crisp, clean, and well balanced taste; is medium-bodied with a palate of apple, pear and citrus flavors, a moderately long finish and hint of ginger. Sip it by itself or pair with spicy foods or rich foods like Roast Pumpkin Ravioli with Mascarpone or caramel popcorn balls.
Get your own Freixenet bottles at your local liquor or grocery store, search here for where it is stocked. Metallic pens are not included with the Cordon Negro Brut, but each bottle retails for $12 each, and it's $3 for a mini bottle! Have fun, be safe and drink responsibly (if applicable) this Halloween weekend no matter what you do!

One Piece Bathing Suit at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa
While staying at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Renee and I hung out at the spa right by our room. We were blown away by the luxuriousness of our room and the breathtaking beauty of the resort grounds inspired by Spanish colonial architecture, as well as an expanse of golf course and pretty courtyards. I wore my Shore one-piece bathing suit which perfectly contrasted the lush and vibrant background with its simplistic design, bold front zipper detail, and neutral color palette. Although the design is simple and not overtly provocative, the bathing suits features a low back cut, high bikini line and backside line (more so than I'm accustomed to), as well as a front zipper that can be unzipped fairly far down. Get your own Shore Tortua Get Zipper One-Piece, and check out the other colors here. Renee and I got to stay at the Omni resort courtesy of Bay Clubs, which we explored the grounds of the Carmel Valley location the following day. Stay tuned for coverage from our visit!Photos taken by Renee Rogers
