The Cabazon Dinosaurs

While en route to Palm Springs for my birthday weekend, I had to stop by the Cabazon Dinosaurs for photos since I hadn't been since I was little. So I asked Scott to stop off there before checking into our hotel. The two dino statue/structures are iconic and can be seen from the freeway; built over 30 years ago, the apatosaurus (formerly known as the brontosaurus) took eleven years to build and is the biggest dinosaur in the world. The belly of Dinny hosts an awesome store with something for everyone. The T-Rex, affectionately known as "Mr. Rex", took seven years to build. Over 12,000,000 people each year see the giant dinos from Interstate 10. Visit and take pictures with the dinos and also experience the T-Rex Museum. The outlets are also down the street so don't forget to stop in to shop, and Morongo is next door for the casino, food, entertainment, and lodging.
